Hair and scalp

<What factors can explain abnormal hair loss?>

If it is not of genetic origin (baldness...), excessive hair loss is frequently linked to:

a temporary situation: stress, fatigue, pregnancy (after giving birth), change of season (especially in the autumn), dietary deficiencies (particularly iron, silicon, group B vitamins, essential fatty acids, sulphurous amino acids, trace elements), convalescence, hormonal problems,

external attacks of a physical ("helmet-wearing" professions...), chemical (pollution, too frequent colorants and perms, hair drier set too hot, harsh cosmetic products, in particular for oily hair, ...), infectious (mycoses) or parasitic (lice) nature.

All these factors weaken our whole body and inevitably have an impact on our hair. In addition to hair loss, the hair can become more fragile, dull and lacklustre, or oily and thin.
