Sun care

<What is a tan?>

Basically triggered by the sun’s "natural" UVB rays, a tan is an adaptation reaction, the skin’s defence against the sun’s attacks, but it does not form an impassable shield. The fact of having a tan often protects against sunburn, but should not be an encouragement to continue exposing the skin to the sun excessively, which may have long term effects (skin cancer).
