The ingredients contained in ABCDerm products are compliant with regulatory requirements.
As a precaution, the entire range is free of any ingredients which could be perceived as harmful :
> parabens (listed preservatives) / phenoxyethanol (listed preservative) / chlorphenesin (listed preservative) / MIT-MCIT (preservatives) / formaldehyde (preservative) / chlorhexidine (antiseptic) / BHT, BHA (antioxidants) / essential oils / artificial colouring.
In addition, all products of the ABCDerm range are checked to verify that the finished products do not contain any :
> Heavy metals / Pesticides / Nitrosamines / Phtalates / Formaldehyde.
Only the purest active ingredients are selected at optimal dosesfor tried and tested dermatological efficacy and total respect of babies and children's skin.
Efficacy tests are conducted under real usage conditions for each product and on each type of skin targeted by the product.
Bioderma advanced research wished to limit the number of ingredients selected in the products of the ABCDerm range to guarantee safety and comfort.
Each product is formulated with a minimum number of ingredients and a pH adjusted to physiological values between 5 and 7.
Formulated based on ingredients selected with utmost care, all finished products undergo tolerance and safety tests:
eye irritation tests / clinical skin tolerance tests / clinical sensitising potential test / usage test on appropriate population under dermatological control.
As recommended by health authorities, to prevent any usage-related microbiological and physical-chemical problem, a 6 month PAO (Period After Opening) is recommended for each product.
BIODERMA also recommends that users close tops and lids tightly after using.
Finally, the scented products of the range are formulated based on a fragrance free from any known allergens in accordance with regulations.
